Gift Certificates can be used for airplane rental, instruction time or other aviation services available at Stanton Airfield. It makes a great gift for someone getting started in aviation or for the active pilot. General gift certificates may be purchased for any amount over $50.

Glider Rides
Receive a tow to 3,000 or 4,000 feet and take a gentle tour around the Northfield/Cannon Falls area with smooth landing back at the airport. Includes cockpit familiarity and basic introduction to the sport of soaring. Riders must not weigh more than 250 pounds. Rides are typically offered between May and October.
Sightseeing Flight (3,000 Foot Tow -20 to 30 min.)
Adventure Flight (4,000 Foot Tow -30 to 40 min.)

Airplane rides/photo flights
Experience the thrill of rolling down the grass runway and gently lifting off into the air for a tour of the Northfield and/or Cannon Falls area from the viewpoint of a bird! A “Discovery Flight” will give you an understanding of the airplane and the steps necessary to achieve your pilot’s license. Make sure you bring along your camera for plenty of photos of rivers, leaves, fields or your house! Or just enjoy the view.
