How You Can Help

Join the Stanton Club!

For years the airport has depended on “ad hoc” donations from generous individuals to keep finances at “breakeven” every year. It has been a constant struggle to meet the costs of the airfield, buildings and business. To formalize the donations we are adding THE STANTON CLUB to our offerings and we are asking for your help.

Please consider joining us as a CENTURY or an AIR CORPS member. Click here for more information.

Become a Stanton Volunteer

Stanton volunteers can help in many different ways, with whatever amount of time they have available. Volunteers may answer the phone, fuel the airplanes, accept payments for services, move airplanes into and out of hangars, mow lawn, fix up the buildings, marshal aircraft during fly-ins, and numerous other duties that help maintain our services and keep our costs down.

The Friends of the Historic Carleton Airport

A lot of work has been done to restore and preserve our main building. But, we need your help with additional projects to ensure building integrity. Click here to learn more about our restoration work and how you can help.

A Snowplow is Needed!

Snow will be coming and Stanton Airfield is looking for a 3/4-ton truck with an 8-10 ft. steel plow to replace one that we have used in the past. We need this to keep the runways and taxiways open this winter. If you know of someone who might have an older plow truck (it does not have to be used on the road, only the airport property), please let us know. You can contact Mike Willey at mikewingswilley@gmail.com or the airfield at (507) 645-4030 or synairportmanager@gmail.com

Thank you for your help and support.
